Textbook Ordering Directions
Buying Tip: We strongly recommend buying the books required for your courses at the beginning of the semester. Availability can become a concern as the semester progresses. Early buyers have the best opportunity to secure lower prices on used books. Overstock books are returned to wholesale suppliers and publishers at the end of the official book sales period, so to avoid out-of-stock concerns, shop early!
- You will need a copy of your current class schedule in order to lookup your textbooks
- Click on TEXTBOOK LOOKUP (left side menu)
- Under Academic Term, click on FALL 2024
- Select the department from your class schedule
- Select the 3-digit course number from your class schedule
- Select the 1 letter section....Be sure to select the correct section letter and instructor
- A list of your required and recommended materials will show up
- Click on the COURSE MATERIALS you want to order
- Hover over New and Used price for more information on the item
- Click on selection(s) and the boxes will turn green for items you would like to purchase, to unselect click again
- If the box is gray, item is temporarily unavailable or out of stock
- Click on ADD/UPDATE ITEMS TO CART
- To repeat process for remaining classes, click on Continue Shopping, click on white x to the right of the Courses heading, continue adding all your course materials to the shopping cart
- After all selections have been made, Click CHECKOUT
- Enter your email address
- Enter your shipping address (you must do this even if you are choosing Curbside Pick up at Campus)
- Confirm your billing address
- Select whether you would prefer to have your order:
- Standard Shipping (New York orders typically arrive 1-2 business days after leaving our store)
- Curbside Pick up on Campus
- *You only need to CLICK TO CALCULATE SHIPPING if you change your shipping address*
- Select your payment method:
- Pay with Student Account - Textbooks and Required Supplies ONLY
- Pay with Credit Card
- 7-digit Student ID number
- Enter the STUDENT ID NUMBER belonging to the STUDENT USING THE BOOKS in this section (You CANNOT charge another student's materials to your student account)
- Click REVIEW ORDER
- If payment method is Paying with Credit Card, you will be taken to a separate link for secure credit card information gathering and then be returned to the Bookstore's site
- Charges do not happen immediately. They will go through when we process your order in the store.
- Click SUBMIT ORDER
- You will receive an email confirming we received the order (the order number will also be in your email and is needed for pick up)
- Your second email may be from the credit card link. This is not confirmation of the actual payment or that your order is ready.
- You will receive another email to let you know when the order is complete and ready to schedule a pick up, or is being shipped.
All order status checking can be done by logging into the bookstore website.
Please Make Sure to Bring Your Order Number and Photo ID for Pick up.
